Who we are

Jobeazee is operated from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We are subject to the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

Your email address (to sign you in), your career profile (so we can match jobs and tailor résumés), basic session metadata (cookie + last-seen timestamp), and — if you buy a plan — billing details. We never see or store your full card number: payment is completed on Stripe's own hosted checkout page.

Where your data goes

Jobeazee runs on Fly.io (primary region: Toronto, Canada). We use two AI providers, and which one receives your text depends on what the text is:

• Your résumé and career details — when you upload a résumé, or generate a tailored résumé or cover letter — are sent to OpenAI (United States). This is a cross-border transfer outside Canada.
• The job description you paste is sent to DeepSeek (China) to pull out the company name, role title and location. Job postings are public text; your résumé and profile are never sent there.

Your data is used only to produce your documents and is not used to train either provider's models. We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.

Other service providers

These companies process some of your data on our behalf so the service can work. Each receives only what its job requires, and none of them receives your data for their own purposes.

• Stripe (United States) — payments. If you buy a plan or credits, Stripe receives your email address, card details and any billing or tax address you enter, and tells us only whether the payment succeeded. Card details go straight to Stripe and never reach our servers.
• Resend (United States) — email delivery. Every sign-in link we send passes through Resend, so it receives your email address and the contents of that message.
• Tigris (globally distributed object storage) — the résumé and cover-letter PDFs we generate for you are stored there so you can download them again later. Those documents contain your career details, and the storage is not restricted to Canada.

All three are transfers outside Canada, the same as the AI providers above.

Your rights

You can ask us to delete your account and everything we hold about you — your profile, your career record, and the résumés and cover letters we generated for you. Email privacy@jobeazee.com and we will do it. We will also tell you what we hold about you if you ask.

Documents we generate are deleted automatically 90 days after they are created, whether or not you ask.

If you use the paste-a-job page before creating an account, we hold that job description and your email address for 30 days so it is waiting when you click your sign-in link, then delete it — whether or not you ever signed in. That deletion happens on schedule and is not conditional on you asking.
